TripIt is both a web service and a mobile application that together, make it much easier to have your entire itinerary at your fingertips. It also lets you simply share it with colleagues and family.
Simply email all your confirmation emails (flights, hotels, restaurant bookings) to a single email address plans@tripit.com and TripIt servers automatically pull out the important dates, codes, contact and confirmations numbers. This is then synced with your iPhone / iPad / Android / Blackberry / Windows Phone 7, your calendar as well as available online - in case you lose your phone.
The mobile app structures all this information in useful ways. All your plans are laid out chronologically starting with your departing flight - with departure time, gate and terminal clearly displayed at the top - lower down are your confirmation numbers, duration, aircraft type and all relevant phone numbers. There's also a map showing the route from your destination airport to your hotel - no more getting taken for a ride by an opportunistic taxi driver. If your plans change, simply email the new details to the same address.
You can effortlessly share your trip plans easily with colleagues and family.
